What no Tasmania!” (Not even Kangaroo Island?)
It just looks like “an origami papal hat” was just one of the unflattering comments from Gruen Transfer host Wil Anderson reported in Adelaide Now.
The relality for a $1.5 million price tag is bright but somewhat childish and ordinary; at least it highlights the location of a state which might otherwise be missed.
Many will prefer the older more advanced logo at the Adelaide Airport, and deplore the cost of a largely unnecessary item, when we already have so much debt.
Perhaps it betrays an inferiority complex on our part, and a tendency to over-compensate by big-noting ourselves, as the entrance to Australia.
Rather South Australia is Australia’s best kept secret.
Small (in population) is beautiful.
